This tutorial is a personal creation. 
Virginia works with PSP19 
I work with PSP20 Ultimate 
but you can follow this tutorial with any other version of PSP 
 
Any resemblance with another one would be pure coincidence.

Place the supplies and selections into the dedicated folders of « Corel PSP » general folder 
double click on the preset (if any) to install

Colors used 
Virginia chose these colors

set FG to color 1 and BG to color 2 in the materials palette 
prepare a square gradient 
 
Don't hesitate to change the colors and the blend mode of the layers, and the shadows, 
according to your tubes and images. 
 
Important 
Open all images in PSP, duplicate them and close the originals. (shift + key D) 
always work with copies to preserve original files 
TIP 1 -> if you don’t want to install a font --> 
open it in a software as « Nexus Font » (or other font viewer software of you choice) 
as long as both windows are opened (software and font), your font will be available in your PSP 
TIP 2 -> from PSPX4, in the later versions of PSP the functions « Mirror » and « Flip » have been replaced by --> 
« Mirror »has become --> image => mirror => mirror horizontal 
« Flip » has become --> image => mirror => mirror vertical

Instructions 
Prepare your work 
don’t forget to save your work as often as possible

open a new image => transparent => 900 * 550 px 
enable the flood fill tool

flood fill layer with the gradient

layers => duplicate 
image => free rotate

highlight Raster 1 (bottom layer) 
image => free rotate 
highlight top layer 
image => selection => crop to selection 
effects => edge effects => enhance

effects => plugins => Unlimited 2 => Filter Factory Gallery B / Button de Luxe / default settings

effects => edge effects => enhance

layers => duplicate 
effects => artistic effects => Chrome

adjust => hue and saturation => colorize

opacity of the layer : 75% (optional)

(Note: you may get a slightly different result from mine, as it depends on the colors chosen, but this is of no importance for the rest of the tutorial. 
You can also uncheck "Main color" and choose White or any other color, it's up to you).

adjust => sharpness => sharpeneffects => 3D effects => drop shadow => 0 / 0 / 60 / 40 / black

flood fill selection (right click) with BG color 
keep selection active
