Veroreves and I work with PSP20
but you can follow this tutorial with any other version of PSP

Supplies
you can download the supplies on Veroreve's original tutorial
or HERE
Place the supplies and selections into the dedicated folders of  « Corel PSP » general folder
you will need a nice colored image (not too light colors) and a character tube (not provided)

save your work often in case of problems with your psp
don’t hesitate to change blend modes and opacities of the layers to match your personal colors and tubes

HINTS and TIPS
TIP 1 -> if you don’t want to install a font -->
open it in a software as « Nexus Font » (or other font viewer software of you choice)
as long as both windows are opened (software and font), your font will be available in your PSP
TIP 2 -> from PSPX4, in the later versions of PSP the functions « Mirror » and « Flip » have been replaced by -->
« Mirror »has become  --> image => mirror => mirror horizontal
« Flip » has become  --> image => mirror => mirror vertical

edit => copy

open a new image => transparent =>  900 * 600 px
selections => select all
edit => paste into selection
selections => select none
adjust => blur => gaussian blur => 25

effects => texture effects => mosaic / Glass

effects => edge effects => enhance more

2 - The Graphic Mask

layers => new raster layer
selections => select all
copy / paste « mask_vjf_graphic » into selection
selections => select none

blend mode => Screen

optional => adjust => hue and saturation  => Hue/saturation/lightness
modify Hue to match your colors

3 - The Branches Mask

layers => new raster layer
enable the Selection tool / custom selection

adjust => sharpness => sharpen more

image => mirror => mirror horizontal

4 - The Miss Mask

enable the Selection tool / custom selection

5 - The Crown

copy / paste the Crown tube as new layer

effects => 3D effects => drop shadow => 1 / 1 / 60 / 1 / black

effects => image effects => offset => H : 0 / V : -40 / tick « custom » and « transparent »

6 - The Title

copy / paste the title tube as new layer

enable the Pick tool with the following settings, to move the layer acurately => position X : 369 / position Y : 463

7 - The Character

copy / paste the character tube as new layer
resize if necessary
place properly

effects => 3D effects => drop shadow => 0 / 0 / 80 / 30 / black

8 - The Frame

layers => merge => merge all (flatten)
Edit => copy

image => add borders => tick « symmetric » => 40 px / color of your choice
selections => select all
selections => modify => contract => 40 px
selections => invert
edit => paste into selection
adjust => blur => gaussian blur => 25

adjust => add-remove noise => add noise

selections => modify = > select selection borders

effects => 3D effects => OUTER Bevel

selections => select none

apply your watermark or signature
write your licence number if you used a licenced tube
layers => merge => merge all (flatten)
save your work as... type .jpeg
