Alyciane worked with PSP 2022 and I worked with PSP 2020 Ultimate
but you can follow this tutorial with another version of PSP, however the result might be slightly different

Supplies
you can download the supplies on Alyciane’s original tutorial => Click on the small parrot on top of the instructions
Place the supplies, the texture and selection into the dedicated folders of  « Corel PSP » general folder

save your work often in case of problems with your psp
don’t hesitate to change blend modes and opacities of the layers to match your personal colors and tubes

HINTS and TIPS
TIP 1 -> if you don’t want to install a font -->
open it in a software as « Nexus Font » (or other font viewer software of you choice)
as long as both windows are opened (software and font), your font will be available in your PSP
TIP 2 -> from PSPX4, in the later versions of PSP the functions « Mirror » and « Flip » have been replaced by -->
« Mirror »has become  --> image => mirror => mirror horizontal
« Flip » has become  --> image => mirror => mirror vertical

open a new image => transparent =>  1000 * 700 px
selections => select all
copy / paste the background image « fond » into selection
selections => select none
adjust => blur => gaussian blur => 25
effects => texture effects => texture / use the texture provided

selections => select all
selections => modify => contract => 50 px
layers => new raster layer
copy / paste the background image « fond » into selection
selections => modify = > select selection borders

flood fill selection with color #556b77
effects => 3D effects => Inner Bevel

selections => select none
effects => distortion effects => Lens Distortion

layers => new raster layer
selections => load-save selection => from disk => selection # 1
flood fill selection white
selections => modify => contract => 10 px
flood fill selection with color #556b77
selections => modify => contract => 2 px
hit the DELETE key of your keyboard
keep selection active
copy / paste the background image « fond » into selection
selections => select none
copy / paste Santa Claus tube into the frame and merge down
layers = duplicate
image => free rotate / right 15°
copy/paste all the tubes and place as shown on the final result
layers => merge => merge visible
image => add borders => tick « symmetric » => 10 px color  #556b77
select the 10 px border with the Magic Wand tool
effects => plugins => Graphics Plus => Cross Shadow / default settings
selections => select none
apply your watermark or signature
write your licence number if you used a licenced tube
copy / paste as new layer the stars border
if you don’t want to create the animation => layers => merge all (flatten) and save as... type .jpeg
ANIMATION
duplicate twice the stars border
rename => « stars 1 » / « stars 2 » / « stars 3 »
close the eyes of « stars 2 » / « stars 3 »
« Stars 1 » is highlighted
adjust => add-remove noise => add noise

edit => copy special => copy merged
open Animation Shop => edit => copy as new animation
back into PSP
close the eye of « stars 1 »
open the eye of « stars 2 », highlight this layer
adjust => add-remove noise => add noise => 35
edit => copy special => copy merged
back intoAnimation Shop
edit => paste after active image
back into PSP
close the eye of « stars 2 »
open the eye of « stars 3 », highlight this layer
adjust => add-remove noise => add noise => 45
edit => copy special => copy merged
back intoAnimation Shop
edit => paste after active image
select all (Ctrl + A)
animation => image properties => 30
if you want the animation to be faster, lower the sped
on the contrary, if you want a slower animation, increase the speed
save your work as... type .gif
